I'll be Home for Christmas!

On November 29, Mom and I started our journey across the world to the USA to be there for the holidays.  We left Dad at home to work a couple more weeks before he was able to come to the USA. Overall our journey was very smooth.  I make life easy on Mom!  I never really cried, threw a fit or anything. I just go with the flow.  Although by the end of the 16 hour flight we were both very ready to be off that plane.  Nana picked us up at the airport and snapped a picture of us before we got in the car.
Before we left for Houston, Mom had told Nana about how much I like to stand up and see the world. Mom was worried I wouldn't last too long just laying on the floor this time. So, Nana and Papa gave me my Christmas present early.  I LOVE it! I haven't quite figured out that I am the one making it move but I'm getting better everyday.

Nana had worked hard to get the house nice and Christmas ready for us and it looked beautiful.  Everything was ready except that the Christmas tree wasn't decorated. One night when Papa was out of town Nana, Mom and I decorated the Christmas tree.  I was lucky enough to decorate two trees this year!

We have also spent time with my Great Grandma Eddy.

Laughing

I've been back in the USA for a while now. So long that Dad has already returned to Saudi.  Lots of things have happened and I've met lots of new awesome people but I've been so busy I haven't had time to write about it.  I still don't have time today but I'm hoping to catch up soon. However, I wanted to record that on October 2 I rolled over from my back to my stomach.  I've been doing this on occasion ever since.  For some reason once I make it to my stomach I'm not so happy that I made that decision. Mom's still working on getting a video of that but I'll try to get her to do it soon. However, she did get some great video of my laughing so check it out!

First Trip to USA!

My Mom has been preparing all week for our trip to the USA!  This will be my first time on US soil since I was born.  I am an American citizen and can't wait to see my homeland. We land in Houston and will spend a few days there meeting my Great Grandma Eddy, Aunt Selena and cousins Beau, Wyatt, and Madasin. Then we will go to Oklahoma to meet my Grandpa Sperling for the first time, my Aunt Jackie and Uncle Andy, and cousins Kate and Evan.  I will also go to Stillwater to meet all of the extended family and see my future college campus-at least that's what Mom and Dad think.

The trip to get there takes about 21 hours with 2 flights one lasting 16 hours.  I'm not that concerned about it because I will have my own comfy bed and Mom and Dad to attend to my every need.  I guess if anyone needs prayers to get through it, it will be Mom.  But, please pray for safe travels. USA, I will see you soon!

American Citizen

Of course I was an American when I was born but now I have my passport and I feel more official.
It's definitely not my best picture and this will be the picture on my passport for the next 5 years! Do you think they will be able to really tell that is me in 5 years? I'm not thinking so but luckily I don't pose any national security threat. USA!
