My baths have been pretty varied since I was born. At Nana's house I use the big tub with a soft pad, at Grandma's house I get to use the kitchen sink, at home I usually take a bath in my baby bath tub up on the sink counter so it is easy for Mom to reach me, and in France I took baths in the tub on a towel. Now I realize I just said I use a big boy bath at Nana's so this isn't really my first big boy bath but it is my first at home. When we got back from Christmas Mom tried to put me in my baby bath again and quickly realized it wasn't going to work anymore.... I LOVE to splash and water was going everywhere! So, I've been upgraded to the big boy bath.

7 months!
Wow! Month 6 just flew by. I can't believe I'm already celebrating month 7. It was a big month with my first Christmas, sitting all alone, and starting to run around in my walker. Can't wait to see what the next month brings.
Jacob’s
Stats:
Age: 7 months
Weight: 16lbs 15 oz.
Length: 26 ¾”
Eye Color: deep blue
Hair color: blonde
Eating Schedule: 5 oz
3 times/day, 6-8 oz morning and night
New Activities: Jacob
now sits all by himself and loves to play independently. He enjoys his toys and loves singing,
squealing, and “ba”ing. His
favorite sound right now is “ba”. He loves being thrown in the air by Dad and
thinks Mom is the funniest person around.
He laughs when other people bark at him or hiccup. He loves sticking his tongue out. He has decided he doesn’t like
being held to sleep and wants to be put down but he will still sleep in the
stroller and car seat. He was a great
car traveler. He is trying to
crawl and pulls his legs under him but gets frustrated. He is still the
happiest, most fun baby!
*Note from Mom: Let me just say that taking these pictures of him is getting harder and harder. He is more interested in moving, why the sign is there, and worried when I put him in his crib it means nap time. But they are still pretty darn cute.

My First Christmas! pt. 2
When you have to travel so much to see family, Christmas gets to last a really long time. It's pretty fantastic. After a great Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Sperling's, we drove to Houston to have Christmas with Nana and Papa. My aunts and uncles and cousins all met us there in Houston to have a big family Christmas. It was crazy and exciting. Nana made us all get dressed up and take family pictures. They turned out great.
After the posing and smiling we all got to open presents. I still wasn't really sure what to do but it was fun anyway.
I had a great First Christmas part 2 with the Gilbert family!

My First Christmas! pt. 1
2012 marked my very first Christmas. Mom and Dad kept telling me all about Christmas and the birth of Jesus but I'm sure one day I will understand even better. Mom also kept telling me that I should be good since Santa was watching me. Since I am always good, I'm not really sure why she was so worried. Lucky for me, I was able to spend my first Christmas in the USA with all of my family.
My first official Christmas Eve and day was spent in Wagoner, Oklahoma at my Grandma and Grandpa's house. My Uncle Andy and Aunt Jackie came too bringing my cousins Kate and Evan. We had a blast opening presents and hanging out. Evan and I had matching pj's for Christmas Eve. Aren't we just so cute.
Now I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do with presents but I did have fun pulling off the paper.
I loved spending the week with my Sperling family. What a great first Christmas!

I woke up Christmas morning deciding that my tongue was really cool! I had it sticking out almost all day. It was pretty funny.
For Christmas, Dad got me my first real set of Lego's. One day we will be able to play with them together!I loved spending the week with my Sperling family. What a great first Christmas!
